What is wrong with this picture? I don’t care if you put a fuzzy little bear on it and pink flowing ribbons and bows. It’s a feeble attempt to hide the already obvious, your kid is on a leash. The other day I saw some woman practically dragging her child along as the poor thing tugged and repeatedly sat down in protest of the “backpack” She then turned to what must have been the mother of the mother and said, “I just don’t understand why she’s acting like this?!” Yeah me either lady I love being taken for walks on a leash…
The real question I keep asking myself is which is worse, the kiddie leash or the dog stroller? I think they may be made by the same company. Christ I saw a store the other day dedicated to all things small dogs and their anal caregivers who are even more annoying then the kiddie leash and stroller combined.Bookmark/Search this post with:

See the thing is, having kids on a leash assists parents in avoiding exercise at all costs - while simultaneously assuring fatter children. You take that kid off the leash and two things are likely to happen, the kids gonna run, the parents gonna run and everyone’s cardio vascular system is going to get a little boost. Then what? Pretty soon we’re just the worlds most medium sized nation and honey, that’s not American!
There is of course one other thing that could happen should a parent dare to remove the shackles from their little prisoner, they might - accidentally - teach their child how to behave properly while walking down a crowded sidewalk. It would take some communication with the child, some, what do you call it? Oh yeah parenting.

I am in complete agreement - I am totally creeped out when I see people deploying those kid leashes. Hate to be judgemental but it really seems utterly lazy from the parent’s perspective and very degrading from the child’s.
Maybe they taser the brats when they get out of line too?
