This is a fun nigh-nigh book with a twist ~ the mother and her child discuss such silly ideas as, “Would you still love me even if I were an alien that ate bugs instead of peanut-butter?”
I give it props for not being too sappy.
Unfortunately it looks like the only gem that this author & illustrator busted out. There are several books by this team but all appear to be variations on the same idea so we skipped them. Still, this title won us over and it’s a favorite.
