No one without children on a day to day basis will ever realize the amount of energy it takes to make a phone call, go wait in line, fill out paperwork, buy groceries, like a stay at home mom. IF you are lucky you might be dealing with another mom or at least a part time stay at home mom who feels your pain and tries to make it easier on you. Such is the case with my visit to the DMV. I went in the latter part of the day only to find the line for “No Appointment” was longer than any line I had seen before. I prepared for the worst because it is the DMV and they don’t really cater to small children with toys and other gadgets to pass the time. To my surprise and delight after explaining what was going to happen to my eldest, things were going pretty smooth. He remained close to the stroller while I fumbled around in my bag for something to give his sister so she wouldn’t try to escape.  read more »

Well my little Momthro’s I have just received the midnight call and Betty is on her way here with bean number one then she’s off to Labor and Delivery! FINALLY!
